Pure Water Campaign
Bringing pure water, free of disease and pesticides and making it available to the populations in rural areas world-wide. Nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean drinking water in Ghana alone. There in Ghana diarrhea causes 25 percent of all deaths of children below the age of five each year, according to UNICEF. The figure is even higher in northern Ghana, where about half the population gets its water from wells, ponds and streams that often contain disease-causing microorganisms. We estimate to provide clean water and hygiene education to over 78,000 children in over 500 schools. By September 2010 we hope to have installed water filter systems in approximately 250 schools, clinics and orphanages in sub Saharan Africa.
Project to Ghana
Ghana’s current population is steadily increasing. Project to Ghana consists of health care and building wells. Health care will be made available to Ghana’s citizens at affordable rates. Mobil clinics will travel into rural communities to provide medical check-ups, treatment and medication to those in need. Well building is a matter of extreme urgency in Norther Ghana especially where Guinea worm disease is prevalent. Here we expect to join forces with local well building contractors to provide clean water as well as jobs for local residents.
Children's Orphanage
This program focuses on the child rather than the institution. Promises to provide quality education and nourishment at each of its facilities. Less fortunate students are provided with year round education from age 5 years to 17 years. After which time, students are given the opportunity to complete their university degree or enter into a vocation traing program. Students then return for one year to volunteer for their orphanage while receiving a monthly stipend.
Sidm Clinic
The Sidm Clinic will provide quality disease prevention education, healthcare, health check-ups, as well as medication and medical assists to those needing it at no or low cost. Clinics will based in major metropolitan areas with satellite locations within each state. Sidm Clinic will also provide free literature and training classes at local churches and schools.
